I just made a fresh install of Windows with SP2 on my PC (Pentium 4, Ti 4600) that was out-of-order for 2 months...and i've got the same problem.
It was the first time i was running Tremulous on that PC so i m not sure about what is messing the things up. However i m gonna try to find an older Nvidia Driver...it wouldn't be the first time that NVidia screws things up with their drivers.

how much ram do u guys have and how much usage is being taken up from other programs and trem??

trem is a beast of a game that sucks up a lot of usage and power..

ive had my pc restart from going overboard a few times.. maybe its the same prob??

Nothing to do with RAM. This desktop has 768 Mo and use about 160 Mo for others programs.

My laptop use 220 Mo of his 512 Mo for others programs and run Tremulous without problems

Sounds like a hardware error. Change your graphic driver, etc.

Also publish here the resulting log file. (the one with:

If no log file is generated, our dev's will need to add a flush to the condebug logging and maybe closing/opening the file before/after everywritte, so the data is flushed to the log file even with a crash, maybe. I don't know much about quake3 engines.
