Other Extension rather then MD3 for weapon/class model

izzit possible to use other extensions like .obj or .3ds or any other extension used in blender?

gtk radiant supports it, but i haven't been able to import a file of those types successfully....

If you're using blender you can export to md3 with a plugin.

If I remember correctly, trem can take .md3, .md4, and .mdr model formats, at least as of 1.1.0.
