Story: Ethereal is a station which was supposed to be a storage of air and power for future human expeditions. But after the alien invasion it was turned into a real battleground.

From the .map Ethereal looks like a grand map. It is superbly made and I can’t find any errors in it except for the later mentioned bugs. There isn’t much more to say.
{0.25}(8)Bugs, inconsistencies, judged from playing and inspecting the map.
One of the door types has an inconsistency where a brush passes through another supposedly solid brush. You can get under one of the grates as a dretch and delay defeat. None of these are game breaking bugs.

It feels a bit strange walking around. It’s a big map especially
not suited for small playercounts. The lack of location entities will make this a downright disorienting map. The flow in contained areas is good though.

Creativity, judged from looks.
Generally well done map, although there are 2 bland areas which are more concrete than anything else. He has however done superb art direction with some doors. The most awesome gimmick this competition is the granger-vending machine, too bad it doesn’t actually dispense any

. Standard models are also included in other places like a dretch near the granger machine or a painsaw on a holder, a Lucifer cannon on the floor. There’s no clear direction to it all though. Sounds are lacking.
