1 - Tremulous is taking special care not to violate any copyrights.  If we use terms that are similar to other games (especially brood war lately) that's only because those are names we are already familiar with, and these names will probably be changed before release.

2 - Do we want forum rats moving in?

i dont thinks bw has any right to the names that are used in their games such as lurker or marine since they are commonly used names, now as long as you guys dont get no hyrdra or ultralist i think you should be fine :wink:, good luck boys

Blizzard licensed diablo and already stopped one game from appearing with diablo in the title. Diablo seems pretty common. And a laywer in australia patented the wheel ,a guy in italy santa claus and the route 66 name is owned by a restaurant keeper in holland.

What's up everybody? haven't posted in a while...
Just came from the BFP site: http://www.bidforpower.com (for those who don't know), and they have a pic up of a new character model, and it's obvious that they will still be including the Ki attack system in the final version, there just won't be any DBZ characters in it... looks like it will still be basically the same, and those original DBZ models have already been leaked out (at least Vegeta and Android 16), so it should be easy to patch the mod to make it DBZ again. Check out the new pic on their News page, it's pretty cool...

Actually this is a little of topic so let it die.

But when i first posted this the news of the cease and decist order had just spread. Some bfp teammember was leaking the latest version and quited the team and a whole bunch of other teammembers were pissed as hell and fans who had waited for two years weren't too ahppy too. I loved reading all those posts. Not to mention the team. Just imagine workin on a mod for a solid two years to hear its going to get canned.
