Campaing Mode idea.

This idea is about to use campaing for maps, so If humans win, the next map will be near the alien home planet, and if aliens win, the next map will be near human planet. Then if you win on some race "homeplanet", the win will be bigger. Of course, this will need more maps, themed maps so you can build this alienhomeplanet-to-humanhomeplanet path of maps, with even branchs.

First some nitpicking, it's spelt Campaign.

With that aside, I'd have to say I like the idea. Anything that brings immersion is good. But the mappers will probably not like it too much, lol.

Would need some additional gameplay elements to make it useful, but that shouldn't be too hard. If I come up with any I will post them.

Another way of doing this would be to have something like a three round match.  Then you would carry over benefits from a previous match to the next match.  For example, if you reach S3 in one match then the whole team gets free evo points for the next match.  Or if you build certain buildings and they are still standing at the end of the match you get a new  building available for the next match.

I'm imagining this could add some strategy that spans maps.  For example the aliens don't aim to win the first match, but instead make sure they get access to 'super tubes' for the next match and win match 2 and 3.  super tubes are just a possible extra benefit..

The other thing would be to have the ability to lock-in teams for the whole set?
ah, that wasn't a tyrant you killed, it was just a baby tyrant.
