ok been ages since I mapped for q3 in any form so am gonna ask some probably blaringly obvious questions that will get me mocked for sure before I even attempt to put pixel to canvas...

1) No build areas, are these a surface parm applied to textures or a nodraw brush that encompasses the area you don't want people building in?

2) Do map placed structures effect how many Build points you start with? Ie in gloom the server sets build points at around 700, if you place 4 teles (40 points each) and 3 turrets (60 points each) on a map when it is played thew usible build points would be: 360. Does trem work the same way or are map start existing structures seperate from the server set build point quota?

3) Do regular entities have team only flags, and if yes how would you set it up. ie. say there was a big cargo door mid field which would cut travel times in half once opened, however being a human base only humans would be able to control if the door is open or closed. IS this possible in trem?

4) If gloom mapping taught me anything it's that func_trains/platforms + aliens with bi gass bounding boxes = much squishiness and bitching (Crisis at Ice Station 8 for those that recall the elevator of death). Is this a similar issue in trem? ie. if you stick 2-3 tyrants on a platform and they happen to touch each other will they cause the platform to squish'em?

5) Which of the no clip surfaces allows for wall walking upon. I know in q3 there was 2 variations, one that stopped anything from passing through and another that disallowed entities but allowed weapons fire...

3: Yes, trigger_equipment reacts to all humans or a specified subset of carried items. Making it toggleable is something different though.

5: I believe the playerclip and full clip allow wallwalking. Weaponclip was your second mention.
