Servers On Vista !

I have windows vista and am a novice at computing  ! I can now set up my own server threw the tremulous game site, which is advanced for me , but i wonder if anyone can tell me how to

a) Become the admin of my server ?

b) Up the build points on it ?

Any help with idiot proof instructions would be greatfully recieved !!!!!!!!!

Start by using the "search" function in the forums here.  These questions have been asked and answered a few times already.  I'd provide links to some of the posts which might help, but 1) I'm running late for work and 2) You'll learn more and have a better sense of accomplishment if you find the answers on your own.

Post back again if you still need help with specific parts.

I don't think there is anyone who has run a server on Vista before, so you are entering uncharted territory.
It might be handy if you tell us what exactly you can't get to work.

i'm still in the making of a server, i have it running, but it's not showing up in the internet list....i'm using vista

Running a server on Vista:

Tremded.exe is trying access files on your computer. Allow or Deny                                   Allow
Tremded.exe is trying to access your network. Allow or Deny                                              Allow
Tremded.exe is trying to send data to master.tremulous.net. Allow or Deny                       Allow
Tremded.exe is receiving a connection from a firewalled IP address. Allow or Deny             Allow
Tremded.exe has encountered a fatal error and has been blacklisted for security purposes.
