Custom Resolutions?
« on: January 27, 2008, 01:20:20 am »
Hello, I'm currently running Ubuntu gutsy Gibbon 7.10 and I'm using a 22 inch widescreen monitor with a native resolution of 1680x1050, and the NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT. I wanted to put Tremulous in this resolution to get the clearest possible image, but it skips right over 1680x1050 in the option that changes your resolution. How can I set this as the custom resolution? I already tried /r_customwidth and custom height, as well as the vid_restart, but it put me into 800x600. Any help?

Thanks in advance.

~EDIT~

As a matter of fact, /vid_restart does nothing. I just tried /r_uifullscreen 0 and then /vid_restart, absolutely nothing happened except a quick refresh of my screen...

Any help please?

You're on the right track with the customwidth and customheight.. but I think your next step is '/r_vidmode -1' before you /vid_restart.  I think.. upgrading the laptop right now so I can't double check.  I'm sure of the value, just not the cvar :>
