Disabling Dretch Auto-Bite

So what if, at a single click, you could toggle the dretch's touch-to-bite property? In cases where you don't want to attack even accidentally - roflol matches, omfgdeconplzdontattack statuses, etc. The auto-attack status will of course be displayed as a notice, and should be kept throughout the whole game, until changed.

it does, you just have to bind your free movement to the arrows :P

I'm having a rather hard time coming up with occaisions when you do not want auto attack to be on. You've given examples as "roflol matches, omfgdeconplzdontattack statuses, etc.," but those aren't English.

Assuming 1 = dickaround matches; no, the game doesn't need to bloat and complicate itself to add features so that you can dick around.

Assuming 2 = humans got deconed, but you're in their base; I do believe the better solution would be to just leave.

I think he's telling you to program your idea so he and other developers don't waste that much needed time to develop stuff that we all know will be useful.

I think you have a great idea. It'll help confuse the already confused new players or cover up what players already need the hud for, to be aware of their surroundings.

what do you mean about deconning structures??? it can only decon a mturret and something else....

the only reason you might not want to bite as a dretch is to take a screenshot of you oh a humans head.

Or making machinima, but I guess for that the human player could use /god.
Then again, Tremulous could use more machinima, so encouraging it would be a good thing.
