This thread is for a simple need, to identify a map by its screenshot.

If enough people show interest, i may stick it.

Yes, this is a legit, serious thread.
It will be treated as such.
Useless garbage posts (IE empty box maps) will be removed.

My first request, is what map is this:

I don't get it.  ;D Is it a game like name the game, or are you actually wondering what map that is? In ether case I have no idea.  :(

That is Flood, one of the maps that sadly did not make it into the standalone release.

As far as I can tell, its for identifiying maps from screenshots and videos.

additive billboard (deformvertex camera or whatever it is)?

r_intensity 2 and r_overbrightbits 4 gives a similar effect.
