UPDATE: I have left NT.
And I can't help but feel the need to copy Smokey's Zilla-is-dead member address.
I simply can't leave without addressing everyone who I've known in the clan I used to lead. My reasons for leaving, I will not repeat unless I feel like it, and I don't right now and won't on these forums.
Without further delay, the credit I give that is more than due from me to everyone who's been in NT and helped ME out while I was there up front...
3of12: The experiment that went right. Stupid kid was a noob and we made him good, and he also became less of a pussy! Cool!
WaR: I kicked him from NT, and then he got cool. Funny, way things turn out sometimes.
Fallen: I kicked him from NT too. He didn't get any cooler though
. But he tried so damn hard in NT, I can't say no to that.
Kriegsgott: Ahhh, Krieg. I say fuck all you guys, he's the best damn builder ever and don't you say shit to me because, well, fuck you, and he's easily the quickest guy to verbally put me in my place on the internet, ever.
Twizz: I'll never forget how many times he declined joining NT because he said he "wasn't good enough yet." Eventually I got him, but it took some work. And I think I was right to garner his interest in NT, because if I didn't, NT would have never had a chance to have one of the coolest guys I know of in Trem.
HoodupHoodlum: He's still new to NT, but damn has he settled in. And the humor he brings has never hurt.
AppleJuice: Fucking asshole's lasgun is probably still better than mine.
WarLock: Never ceases to amaze me in every Tremulous way, he's had me cracking up many times in the short time he's had his mic working on Teamspeak for us, and he's been there to contribute to the bugging of me for scrims.
Iabz: Stupid cunt. I think that's all I have to say. <3 u ibaz.
men: What a terrorist! He naded like a bazillion rets once, just shows you how much he loves big deadly explosions. And he built like a noob and got NT its first loss, against a clan in which there were 3 members who are now in NT today.
Idiot-Savant: He pissed me off since he got into NT, but I never got to actually truly REALLY kicking him because he did compensate a good bit for his downfalls in competition. I think that makes him awesome?
Zort: He spread the word about how light armor helps against basi gas, AND about how you can use a medkit to stop alien poison! How cool is that! His simple statements made him seem so simple-minded (HE WASN'T, LOL), but you GOTTA know there's a raging storm of ideas getting microwaved in that skull.
Slayer: He had the right attitude for the job and was very disciplined with himself, even if he didn't seem like the kind of kid to be like that sometimes.
K-otic: It can't be left out that he was my right-hand guy as far as advice, throughout the second and third runs of NT, but I can't help but think that we argued more than we agreed. I think that was a good thing for NT though. I'll never be able to read him or understand him, but that only adds to how much he amazes me.
Dance: The first member I ever recruited...God fucking dammit, WHY THE FUCK DOES HE HAVE TO BE SO COOL! The amount of times he's convinced me to do something crazy in a scrim or public game, it's unbelievable. There won't be a guy as cool as him or the guy under him, ever.
Blazeraid: TOO COOL AS WELL. And also, my first right-hand before Otic. I wish he was still hanging around with us often today, but, life comes first of course, and I'm happy to see he's doing well in college.
Equilibrium: Fucking luci spammer forum hopper. But his e-personality is something else, and it'll always amaze me. That, and his luci.
Bug: Wasn't in long, but there were some good laughs. Changed my vote from a no to a yes pretty damn easily too. Persuasive little bastard.
Dragula: SHERIFF DRAGULA WILL TAKE MY BADGE IF I SAY ANYTHING BAD! BUT I WOULDN'T! Seriously though, I've had a ton of good laughs with this guy, and he's been real fun to have around since he joined NT, not to mention the good times before that.
Daenyth: I've never met someone with his head in the game like Daenyth. Seems like he thinks tactically 24/7, which had its pluses for NT from time to time. BUT AT LEAST WE GOT REVENGE ON HIS CLAN THAT GAVE US OUR FIRST LOSS BY RECRUITING HIM A WHILE AFTER! AHAHAHAHA!
Zodiac: I don't know really what to say...Zodiac is a rather indescribable character. He's skilled and just damn cool, and he's doing a good job in NT.
Thrash: The second member I recruited into NT...he's not been active in a year, but were he to come back, I'd fucking scream with joy.
Aequitas: All the flaming of Runescape, damn those were good times. And when he returned from his computer breaking, half of the people at PureTrem thought he botted. Ended up proving in the negative of that, just had this crazy aim that looked like funlily, but he was a great guy to have around and even though he hasn't been on in about 6 months, I won't forget him.
Genie: All those months of being in the NT Fan Club, and it all payed off when he got good enough. Just been a good kid to have in the clan, I don't think anyone could say anything negative about his attitude, ever.
Jit: Drove me insane with his insults to my leadership and skill, and he drove me insane with his pushiness to get me to do get the most out of NT's skill by massive extremes. I even kicked him from the clan once or twice, but I could never keep him out, no matter how much he fucked around in scrims and then blamed it on me. I think that deserves a Tremulous medal or some shit.
Bull: All the arguments we had, insane bouts of mature reasoning vs. reasoning. Me and him never were on perfect terms with eachother, but there were plenty of times in NT where he did deserve credit on his own behalf.
King: He's changed a ton since he was in NT, but I always felt that he had it in him to change that slight bit he needed to to be fitting into NT, and he did it now, even it's not towards NT, and I have to congratulate him on it. Always been a cool guy to have around, in or out of NT.
Initiative: I asked him to join NT by suggestion of AppleJuice and I think men, but when I asked, he had a name he used to show that he was afk. Pretty hilarious, and he did go inactive after joining, but we had some good times nonetheless.
Mantra: Was in NT for like a week before the stupid "Whoops, this Zilla isn't actually going to work!" incident. He's still cool in my book though, even if he got a bit stubborn there.
Ozzy: I think he's done more for NT from the outside than on the inside, but he WAS in NT for a short time, and we had some serious fun during that. Always been great to have around, his friendliness and encouragement towards us has always been much appreciated.
Ender: The attitude he brought to NT was simply great. He's not been seen in many months, but when he does come on he always tears it up and shows the same personality. I still remember that in his original app for NT..."i smoked crack once or twice, i think..." Easily one of the most memorable application quotes NT's had. Hope to see him come back sometime.
Exclamation: Last but not least by a longshot. Exclamation, K-otic's brother, the guy who's been told he could just tag up as NT for a long while now, and he still has not. A great guy, a great player, a good influence on NT even if he's not really in it. I will never stop considering him to be a part of NT, because he truly was.
If I've forgotten someone, let me know, PLEASE, because it must be done.
There are also a billion people who never were in NT but I'd love to thank them. I just can't recall so many damn names.
This just in though: St. Anger was the biggest pp, by his own request of inclusion.
