« on: February 21, 2008, 07:48:36 am »
I goggled this before searched the forms and couldn't find a thred about it.  So how do i load my textures which i made into gtk. also how to i take textures/shaters from other maps and load them into mine.  sorry about me knowing anything but this will now show up when you Google search this question because of my specific title.

Textures go into "base/textures/[your texture set name]"
Shader files go into "base/scripts"
Remember to put you're shader into the shaderlist.

C:\Program Files\tremulous\base\textures\myfirstmap don't work for me!
i couldn't find a textures folder so i made one and when i opened gtk and looked for myfirstmap under the texture section it wasn't there. btw i am using gtk radiant 1.5.

Ok, thank you. Now is there a way to use textures and shaders from third party maps such as the water shader from Pulse?
You can just put the map name name into your shaderlist. A more elegant solution is to ensure that the shader file for your map is in your shaderlist, then copy the shaders that you want into your shader file, and any textures referenced by these shaders into your pk3 tree. This makes creating your pk3 much easier.

Hi I had the same problem and if you still need to know you need to go the c:/program files/tremulous/base/scripts/shaderlist.txt and add "myfirstmap" to the shaderlist preferrably in alphabetical order
