what do you think the current dretch taunt is useless for what is for taunting the humans i can barely hear it. ok this is a stupid idea but maybe something like a cricket but longer i don't know post your ideas here yours are much better then mine hopefully

I like the Dretch taunt. However, the Basy's is hard to hear and comes out delayed (you're usually better off using the jump sound). If anything, I'd rather see that one addressed.

It's delayed for its animation. Do cg_thirdperson 1 cg_thirdpersonangle 180 and watch the animation.

The basi does have a small VERY quiet sound at the beginning of its taunt, but you can't even hear it over a luci passing by.

Do what I do: alternately press the jump and taunt keys in rapid succession.
Works for making the dretch audible, and makes any other alien quite a PITA to listen to.  Brings the hummies right around the corner for a quick luncheon with friends.  xD

it is SO easy to change the sound.... infact, i changed the default tyrant taunt into a loud, long belch.... ;P, which was surprisingly funny....but annoying to say the least....xD

Now, I am scared. I will run. Away. Fast. Then again, that would be slightly amusing. Especially if you could hide on the wrong side of a wall (as in, using the map, not a wall glitch. Though that might work too...) and blare loudly. Especially death metal!
