First off: this is NOT about customizing your appearance. It's about customizing the appearance of others. This idea is based off my PiP idea, but this one can't be used to cheat and shouldn't drop your FPS. I think it would be cool if you could tint one of your friends red, and have another friend blue, or maybe tint some n00b that tked you pink so you can keep an eye out for him

This could actually have some other uses too, servers could be set up so the admins can color-code players. If a rank system was implemented for registered players there could be different colors for the different ranks.

I was going to suggest something like that, where players can choose diff colors for their equipment /headbandcolor 3 or something like that, every client would have a finite number of colors (or textures), then show accordingly. like that you could have your fav colors (maybe for clans a distinctive color uniform/pattern). Players would look much nicer imo.

IF you only have the ability to colour your own teammates, sure, why not

I guess this idea can be mixed with player one's banner idea. teamkillers go red for a while, frag machineries goes another, etc.
