Umm.. Really cool, but is it actually always going to be like that or just when you attack? Hopefully the latter because I do not want those things in my screen the whole game.  ;)

As long as you can turn them off its fine with me. Personally I always stick with "hide weapon" or whatever its called, I really dont need to see what im carrying to use it, also there's no blind spots.

Yes, this is for 1.2
No, they aren't in view all the time, only when attacking.
No, there is no video yet, have to fix some frame issues.
Yes, you should be able to turn them off. If not, ha ha ha!

that would mean your eyes would be in your mouth. how awkward would that be?

Watch an old person in a grocery store.  You hit a certain age, and you get eyes in the back of your throat.  That's the only possible explanation for holding things up around mouth-level, tilting the head backwards so the mouth falls open - the eye in the throat has better vision and needs to read the label.

Well, 1.2 is coming out at the same time as Duke Nukem Forever, which means there will be at least a beta by the end of this year.
1.3 is coming out right after Duke Nukem Forever: The Hefner Expansion Pack comes out.
