i got this idea playing in tjw's server, were you don't have enough space to put all the turrets you can build.

How about having a item stand?
    Can be stacked
Armored (take longer to kill, like reactor)
A human can jump on one (make a staircase, etc)
doesn't need to be near reactor/repeator
    doesn't explode when killed
    available for about 2 points

Alot of maps already have blocks to build on, bue being able to decide where to put them would be very useful.

Another reason this would be good is that you can stuff 4 or 5 acid tubes together, and they don't interfere with each other's line of fire.

s1, of course.

yeah, somethign like that, but not really for stairs... more for putting turrets/other items on top of.

not much use for stairs in a game with jetpacks...

IMO it would end up being too powerful by being able to block routes, wall off doors etc.  Imagine a goon going to attack a base and as the door opens he finds blocks stacked two high with turrets on top.

Can't go over it.  Can't go under it.  Can't go through it.  Run away!
ah, that wasn't a tyrant you killed, it was just a baby tyrant.

that's valid, but turrets have a limited range of movement... if you run right up to below them, thy couldn't hit you and you could get rid of the boxes (that should probably destroy the turret, too).  Besides, i don't know of any doorways that you could stack 2 high with a turret.

Anything only 1 high would be easily attackable.  Another possible problem -- can tyrants get through it?
