Well I read the sticky but I'm pretty unobservant so I wouldn't be surprised if I missed the part the explained this.

So after reformatting our hard drive I decided to download Tremulous again and install it. When I ran it, though, and clicked Get New List it says "Getting info for -1 servers (Press Esc to cancel)." It does this with the GUID and without.

Usually it means you don't have internet, but that seems like it's not the case here. Hit get new list a couple times. (If you haven't allready.) The only other thing I can think of, is sometimes virus protection software won't let you connect to the internet unless you say it's ok. Check to see if Tremulous is blocked or not.
