If I leave a server, I cannot immediately rejoin it.  If I do, it will get to the end of the loading screen and stall there.

For whatever reason, if I wish to rejoin a server, I have to go to a SEPERATE server, leave, and then I can join the old one again.  I thought about it a bit and couldn't come up with any answers of my own, and as I don't lurk here, I'm unfamiliar with any previous threads addressing this issue.

Is it a common problem?

Never heard of that one. What OS, client, backport, hardware, etc.? It might help ppl solve it for you. I would say you might have some files that aren't loading right. What mods, huds, other files or additions have you made to your Trem? Also, what server or servers in particular? Maybe they don't have the same versions and you have two files that conflict.

I've noticed it on all servers I connect to.  I'm running XP on an e-machine laptop.  Not gonna get too specific on the loadout cuz I'm lazy, and I think it's a file mismatch somewhere.

I have the TJW backport, which I doubt is the prob, but more importantly I have Hellrider's HUD, which had been bitchy up until a week ago, when it randomly kicked in.  Still not sure why it hadn't worked b4 and suddenly did now.  But yes, this isn't the first time I've had things glitch on me, so I'll probly hafta tinker with it trial-and-error.  Thanks for (somewhat) confirming my suspicions, and glad to know it isn't a common thing!
