Like stated in several other threads, remove any reference to 'r_mode' in all your configs and/or try '+set r_mode 6' on the command-line. Thank you for taking the time to look around on this board and posting yet another obsolete topic about the same problem.

solved; no thanks to you. you were adressing the typical opengl problem when it was really my fucked up res in combo with full screen. so hop off the pedistal and run along now :(

Thanks for telling us how you fixed it.
This thread will be ever so useful for future people with the same problem.

So, let me see if I got this right.

1) Post a problem
2) Someone points out that your problem is answered elsewhere
3) Jump to a conclusion about what the person in #2 was saying, and flame people.
4) Someone else points out that while you said your problem is now solved, you never said what the solution was
5) Flame some more, ironically at someone who probably could've solved your problem in the first place.

I'll echo David's sentiment.. your post added nothing useful.  And since the problem is solved anyway, it doesn't need to remain open either.

Just so this thread is not entirely useless, look in this thread which is on the same page.

Said thread is titled [SOLVED] Res issue ... again.
