Goon pounce damages alien structures?!!?!?!?

I can't recall exactly which server it was, but it seemed that the goon pounce damaged alien structures.  I pounced through a well defended doorway, and destroyed most of the acid tubes, trappers, beehives, and such that were mounted on it   :O .

I was shocked.

Can something be done about this?  Or is it just from a lousy server setting?

Or is it absolutely normal* and I am an insane heretic for mentioning it?



*I don't play as an alien much because I hate the Dretch, and I'm a Marauder kind of guy anyways

Might depend on FF settings, as I haven't been able to damage structures.

Goon pounce DOES damage alien structures on servers with FF on buildings, just like any other attack (except the dretch bite).

probably akka they have ff buildings on...

ff on buildings is standard everywhere i believe. Goon pounces have killed more than one booster. But they usually damage only one structure not an entire defense.

yeah it's highly unlikely you killed three structures with one pounce unless you pounced their supporting egg (no egg and other structures self destruct)

But yes pounce is an atatck and hence can damage buildings BUT like pounce vs players there will be times it won't do anything
