Darkness Fills The Screen>>>

Hey,
I Got A Problem>>>A Serious Problem...
k so as you all know I got vista because Air France said that it is a easier way to make a tremulous server...so i got vista...it F!@#ed up my computer. But I fixed it. But I have 1 problem....tremulous....the screen is dark black...

Ill tell you what I already tried and the results.

I tried:

\r_gamma 2

Result:

SetDeviceGammaRamp failed.

I Tried:

Going to Esc>Options>System>GFX Software>Raising the Brightness to excess

Result:

SetDeviceGammaRamp failed.

All I tried any more ideas?

Also if I do no full screen its lighter ,
I reinstalled my graphic driver,
and i don't wanna keep it Non-Full Screen or ill see other things on my desktop that will distract me

vista comes with very bad opengl support, install graphics drivers from nvidia/ati/intel/whoever made your graphics card.

Or just try running Tremulous in Win XP compatibility mode...

Vista sux! Uninstall it and install Windows XP.

P.S. If you have problems with Tremulous server on WinXP and you have router look here: http://portforward.com/

PS. If you're a visual junkie like me, XP is no longer an option.

Gotta be the ugliest looking OS ever... >.>

PS.PS. Trem is fine on my Vista64... :/

I dunno, 2000 was pretty ugly.
