okay well excuse my spelling, 

whenever i connect to a server, it always says i need to update my cliant(or however you spell it)

so i went the the website to told me to go to and selected the version for my PC

i hit run, and the box showed up, but then it said "error" at the bottom and tremulous didn't load

so...am i doing something wrong?

You have to copy that file over the current tremulous executable.
Its probably located in Program Files if your on windows, or do locate tremulous if your on linux.

Rename your old tremulous executable to tremulous.backup or something first, in case you do it wrong.

It's spelled 'Client'- since you asked.
Your other spelling seems ok.
Luck with the real problem. :)
