Texture Catalogue
« on: June 23, 2008, 12:40:02 pm »
I thought of starting this thread for a number of reasons;

A) The community (TRaK) has been turning out some nice textures recently.
B) All the maps are looking very "Samey" from the textures perspective.
C) It will give mappers more of an insight into the sort of look they can give their maps.

With any luck, maps will become more interesting texture-wise. Enjoy.

Tremulous Community-Made Texture Sets:
TRaK: Babel, Filth, TRaK2

External (not community-based ones) Texture Sets:
Simon O'Callaghan (Soc): Egyptian, Techno
H F X
The Nucleus: Quake3 UTX Combo Pack

This is all I have time to look for right now, but I hope to add to it over the next few days. Admins and mods, feel free to add to it if you wish.

This should be added to the mapping wiki, not the forums. This is exactly what the mapping wiki is for, and I think most sets you link here are also linked on the mapping wiki.

Well considering very few people actually look at the mapping wiki as far as I can tell, this probably isn't such a bad idea.

If people don't bother looking on the mapping wiki, screw them and let's hope they never make a map. People spent time writing that wiki, for the sole purpose of serving people.

Anyone know where I could find some good white to light gray metal textures?
