On a server with this enabled (which most servers do nowadays) [in console] /callvote poll [insert poll here].

if you just devmapped, you probably have an older client which doesn't know that command, but try going to a popular server and doing it.

The reason you can only do it so many times is there's a cvar set by the server operator(s). Why would you want to make a lot of poll votes anyway?

Use double quotes around the vote text else only the first word will be printed.

/callvote poll "I should be banned for calling too many poll votes?"

i didn't have to use quotes (either double or simple) on fz, i guess that depends on the running qvm

2) You haven't had to use quotes since like the very earliest version

That's not the universally accepted version. !pollvote is most likely from a single, obscure QVM.

For servers that don't have "!pollvote", press "~" and then type in /callvote poll <obnoxious spam vote here> and your done!

"<" and ">" shouldn't be inserted, just words. You can also put colors into your polls, if you know how to put color.

Making an example of idiots by kicking and banning them is also an effective deterrent.
