Welcome to the forums.  I'm not sure where you'd posted this before, I only found it in the compost pile because of the reply that was posted to it was about as useful as manure (actually less, manure can be used to grow things).  I moved it to off topic so that others can say hello if so desired, though I'm willing to bet there's going to be at least one more jackass reply.

Anyway, as you read around here you'll see that many are the friendly sort, and some are not.  You'll quickly learn which opinions to trust :>  In the mean time, fire up your client, find a server close to you and enjoy the game - there's plenty of people around, plenty of servers, and lots of fun to be had.  And I'm half asleep, and probably shouldn't try stringing together words to form coherent sentences in this condition.
