i cant play in a few maps

there are maps that im trying to play in and it says "cant load map.."
how do i download maps and where ??

Try enabling auto-download by main options in tremulous or downloading maps and putting them in your tremulous/base folder.

Also, can someone refresh my memory of what the command was for enabling auto_download in console? Was it /seta cg_AutoDownload 1 or something?

That should do the trick. If the download is really slow, get a better client.

If I am not mistaken you need a recent client to do that.

There are cl_allowdownload and cl_wwwdownload
They do exactly what the name says: 1st allows download and 2nd is for using www download instead of the normal slow download.
