1. Choose a server with a lower ping, failing that fix your connection.
2. Probably also due to the crappy connection.

for the mouse problem:

Delete your autogen.cfg file

location of file for windows xp: C:\Program Files\Tremulous/base
                          With GUID: C:\Documents And Settings\Local Settings\Application data\Tremulous/base

Ask others for locations on other OS's

Not even from China to a U.S server should you have such a high ping. Which means someone or something is flooding your connection.

1. Stop any filesharing application like emule, bittorrent etc..
2. Stop downloading while playing
3. Ask your sister to download her pokemon wallpapers when your done playing

Or stop using dialup. Also, typing /exec default.cfg makes it so you don't have to delete the autogen.

Beijing to West Coast: 200 ping.
Beijing to East Coast: 280 ping.

What kind of mouse home-skillet?

I once got a new mouse and it wouldn't let me use my Mouse3 button. I went to Logitech's site, downloaded the latest software, and re-mapped my mouse3 from Zoom (w/e the fuck that is) to Enter. Now I just bind a key to Enter and it's the same as binding it to Mouse3.
