It isn't a clan, it's a guild.

And its goal is to improve the community, therefore I doubt they hold practices (although I could be wrong.)

in my experience clan and guild have been pretty synonymous...what difference in meaning are you referring to?

And when you get right down to it, they're a trem clan, or guild, w/e. We're here to talk about and play trem, so if we aren't playing, why are we here? =P. That's what I meant by practices.

well a guild works more outside of trem helping with development or getting new players or something along those lines, while a clan is more of a scrim team. right now the only big guilds i can think of are Void and }MG{

I think they explained it pretty well, but if you're still confused about the difference between a guild and a clan, feel free to PM me, and I can try to explain even more in-depth.

From the way things sound, you want to be appling for a clan, not a guild.  (Although you can be in both a guild and a clan at the same time.)

All members and applicants register here http://voidofdeity.net/forum/index.php and we'll get you put into the correct usergroup ect.

Then we can start polls and stuff.  Sorry it has no theme atm.

I'm using smf beta, am going to have to unistall it is having to many issues and then put 1.15 up.  So I disabled registration so you guys dont' have to reregister. Sorry.  :/  I'll reinstall it tomorrow after work hopefully, going to work now. bye.

Eeeek, SMF.

There is others forums board, like :
Fire Soft Board - It's in French, but there is an english translation.
FluxBB - English, clear, and not heavy (But a bit low in features).
phpBB - Does I need to explain what it's ?

And if you are ready to spend money, there is Invision Board, which is very complete, and has a lot of features.

It's my personal opinion. I don't like SMF because :
- A bit ugly
- I don't lke the ergonomy (ie the options, I'm always loose there)
- Look at their logo ! It's unbalanced = bad.
- This forum is the only with SMF I know, so I can't "train" me to discover it good.

The default theme isn't ugly, it's simple.... It is easy to change to and there are really good smf themes out there or if you have the time make one yourself, look at mg's wicked theme

I didn't explain me good, sorry for that !
I just don't know a lot of forums with SMF, so I can't know to how the puissance of this board can go. And don't forget opinion can change with the time, but actually, I don't like SMF.

I use more forums like FSB, and the ergonomy of this one with SMF can de different on some points.

I like the default theme.  Puts forth an organized and clean image.  Nothing wrong with it at all.  Simplicity is bliss.

Rofl @ SMF Debate.  Not a big fan of PHPbb myself, at least not as much as SMF simply because SMF does have more options, but I agree with you that I personally don't like the default theme.  There are some pretty sweet themes out there.

I like SMF mainly because it's simple and easy to use. phpBB comes in a close second. vBulletin? Not so much.
