Custom skins for Tremulous?

I'm just curious... But are people able to make custom player skins for Tremulous because I'm a bit of a warhammer 40K geek and I so want to replace the battlesuit with some kind of space marine thing. ^^ :battlesuit:

I think even just to switch the texture you'd need some server to accept your modified pk3-s :-\

what army you play? ;D 8)

You could do this by modifying data-1.1.0.pk3 or adding a PK3 with your skins. In the former case you'll fail the pure check and get kicked, and in the latter it won't work on pure servers.

But, in the latter case it would work if the server allowed it, and if what you make is any good, some servers might.
There are a few custom skins floating around that some servers allow.
Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.
