Tremulous will get the same bad reputation as WoW.
I wan't to go into detail on why this won't happen.
WoW's bad reputation is due to the obsessive nature of its more fanatic players. These people play non-stop for 23 hours a day, giving 1 hour in total for sleep, making two minute noodles, going to the toilet etc. (see the South Park episode "Make Love Not Warcraft". It is
very accurate). People have died at their computers due to exhaustion and lack of food or water because they play too much. There have even been reports of players commiting suicide due to in-game tragedies (characters dying is not a valid excuse, since WoW's respawn system is very user freindly and rather painless).
Tremulous will never get this reputation.
Tremulous, like all other online FPS games, cannot consume life. FPS games take more brainpower than MMORPGs, and thus, players need rest. I myself can only endure five of six hours of continuous FPS gameplay before I either get bored or tired, whereas I can play WoW untill the wee hours of the morning (I don't, however, because I moderate my game time).
If Trem gets a bad reputation, it will be due to asshole players migrating to other games, like Urban Terror (it's allready begun in Australia. Thankfully, they are not playing Tremulous anymore and are leaving the more pro and exprienced players in peace).
You disregard your own thread by comparing Tremulous to World of Warcraft.

I would also like to point out that Lava (should) know what I'm talking about, since he dislikes WoW. If he doesn't, his dislike is forfit.
