They have indeed helped me out a lot in my attempt to become more then "feeding newbie"

But the reason as to why created this thread should be more then obvious too most of you.
I simply wanted to know how the community felt about the newbie vs experienced player thing.
As I said before there more then a few real nice and good players out there.
And if you're not one of the people that are rude and way out of line then there's no reason
to make this personal as it would seem that of you have.....
And if by some freakish reason did hurts anyones feelings then I am sincerely sorry about.

Wrong. It has everything to do with the type of game. People who play Tremulous might be miffed that you ruined an hour-long game for them, but nowhere near as pissed as the guy whose 37th-level elven paladin archer just got eaten by a mantichore while you were screwing around. This has everything to do with Tremulous being a first-person slasher real time strategy game and not some massively multiluser nolife unicorn rainbow questing,
