I hate this mapping tutorial it doesn't even tell you how to reselect brushes or about caulking or about selecting the face of a brush. I used this tutorial to start out mapping and was never able to recover.

There are two ways to texture and several things to look out for. You can select a brush in the normal way and apply a texture; the texture will be on all faces of the brush. This is usually not wanted. Better is using ctrl+shift+left click; this will select a single face of a brush. Caulk is near that quote as well.

gtkradiant 15 its the trem.game file that goes in the macradiant/games file

@cactusfrog: The Tremulous Mapping Wiki is, as the name suggests, a wiki related to Tremulous mapping. What you want is a tutorial on how to operate GtkRadiant, and such tutorials are abundant on the interweb.

I can't find one that works on Ubuntu. It says that there are no tested packages because of the many versions.
Does anyone else know how I can get GTKRadiant on Ubuntu 8.10?

once again, the file on the page Gtkradiant 1.5 for mac (PPC) for the trem.game folder DOWNLOAD is borked, anyone care to upload it?

oh and the common files link is also borked... i need to re-install radiant so it would be nice if someone could share

I'd go with netradiant instead of gtk1.5 (which you can download from the netradiant site, or from Ingar's sticky thread). You need to do some messing around with lib files inside the app to get it working (dependent on OS version: 10.4/10.5/10.6), but there are good tutorials out there.

i know i know, but netradiant doesnt support PPC (i've already tried a custom compile with Ingars help before) so i just net a work version of radiant on my computer for now. thank you!
