Door issues

All the doors in my map can be walked through. This is a problem because some of them open slowly, but you can just walk through them before they finish opening. Another problem is that they can also be shot through. This defeats the purpose of a door. Anyone know what the problem is?

All I did was make a brush, right click and make it a func_door, and set the speed. How would it become non solid? How do I make it solid?

Sorry to be an idiot, still learning here.

Sorry, still confused. I know I am and idiot but what EXACTLY do I need to do to get this to work?

You probably applied a shader to the door not a normal texture... shaders have a white outline in texture browser.
