The Wiki
« on: August 26, 2008, 10:39:22 pm »
It needs updaing, for sure. There have been no new articles in a while, and while I am an amateur mapper, there are some things I know that are not on the wiki.

I am willing to write a definitive article in the wiki on Jump Pads*.

Who else is willing to write an article of some sort?

*in the next week, or so

Write an article, post it up. If it is any good it'll get added. Do take care of formatting it for a standard wiki and keeping it simple for starting mappers. Examples help.
I’m busy. I’ll ignore you later.

It'd be nice if someone could repost the files needed to allow GTK radiant to compile Tremulous maps.  Seeing as all the old hosting servers died.  :(

Better yet...if someone really begged me I could make an auto-installer, (if given the files) so that no manual labor is necessary other than clicking next a few times.

Are there any for 1.4?  I'm not used to 1.5, so I'd prefer to use 4.

Or can I pretty much use the same files?

EDIT: Never mind, some of the files are different from 1.4 and 1.5.  Are any the same though, because the only one I need is the synapse one.  (For 1.4) I've managed to find everything else (I think).

I've been very busy. I will tomorrow night, as I am away from my home computer for now. But tomorrow is labor day, so I will definitely have time to write that article on jump/launch pads. =D

I noticed that in other GTK Radiant using games, that a lot of them have a user0.proj file.  Do we need this...?
