- Indiana Jones and The Crystal Skull Map (complete with Mayan Pyramids)

- Cloud City from The Empire Strikes Back Map

- Jabba's Pallace Map

- Inside The Death Star Map

- Underground Caves with glowing walls Map

- Swamp Map

- Thick Jungle Map

- Inside Battlestar Galactica Map

- Celestia Map from Stargate SG-1

- The Temple of Doom Map

- Funhouse Map

- Super Mario Bros 3D Map


These are just some creative ideas that I had. Feel free to use them and/or alter them. I'm giving these ideas away.

90% of that stuff is from something else. I'd much prefer something original, like half the map destructed (the alien base) while the other bit is an intact sci-fi base (human base)

because then it fits, like the humans built the base there, then the aliens infiltrated it and are taking over, while the humans try to get it back.

Now that I like. I'm thinking along the lines of the ship in Prey. Possibly an overrun base or ship that has become heavily infested by alien creep - a more trem-styled variant of the creeping flesh of Doom 3.

Just 2 more ideas I have, for now, I would like to add:

1. The Alien's Home Planet Map (I'm not quite sure if this one has been done yet)

2. Earth - Farm Land, Sub Burbs and City Buildings (This one could be a winner!)

I forgot to ask guys...would it be possible to make destructable Maps, that is, Maps that both Aliens and Humans can wreck? For example, a human grenade could blow up a crate, and a Rant could wreck an old metal beam hanging?

Apparently maps cannot have 'destructable' (like a crate you can destroy) brushes for Tremulous, however a 'patch' for this was being discussed...here: http://tremulous.net/forum/index.php?topic=7206.msg108177#msg108177

It should be possible though, because other quake3 based games have destructable brushes (like JKA)...I just don't think Tremulous supports it at the moment.

No it doesn't, I suggested a func_breakable entity in one of the "what do you want in 1.2" threads, but I don't know if anything will come of it.

There would be a lot of room for the humans and aliens to run around and fight, plus, if one of them fell overboard, they would sink to the bottom and drown! Unless you would be a Dretch, Granger, or Basilisk.

those lego maps look pretty cool. i did start tinkering with a model that would replicated the bumps on a lego brick, but all the polys would have slowed the game down too much. lego textures make way more sense.
