My guid. / Other files??

This has happened to me a LOT.

Well... Ok.

I happened to be playing tremulous. then i DLed a map on a server. my client just " Closed " , I went back on... and....  Everything is resetted.

My name is back to unamedplayer, my gamma is back to 1. all my controls are back to normal ETC. Like tremulous reinstalled it self....

Like a Server with a Virus.
It download an infected Tremulous.exe, close your client and replace your old tremulous.exe with the new infected.

When i get a new Tremulous.exe is everything resetted, too.
But not my GUID. =)

Probably some noob server that doesn't set fs_base right.

Go into your tremulous directory and look if there is a file in /base which shouldn't be there. F.e. A tremx vms or similar.
