Tremulous is not a scientific simulation, it's a computergame. In computergames, Rocket Launchers can shoot bunnies, without the need for scientific backing.

New MD pics, its a textured and coloured model, and i think that those complaints about the MD not looking sci-fi enough should dissapear now. The texturing makes alot of difference.

and wouldnt it be a good idea to have a sticky called "Tremulous 1.2 collected information" or something along those lines, and have the future models and things that will be included in 1.2 or future releases..?

I may have said this before, but why is the Mass Driver an energy weapon in Tremulous? That doesn't make sense!

In a way it is both:

It needs a mass as the payload and it uses (electrical) energy to accelerate the particles/mass.

The Tremulous mass-driver could just collect dust from the air, compact it, then fire it with electromagnets powered by an atomic battery.

It definitely looks much better now with proper texturing, it looks pretty great actually.

I'm glad we're starting to get some visible updates for Trem 1.2, and it should stop some whining now that we can see that something is going on.
