Chaingun or Minigun?

Reading in wikipedia i found this "A chain gun has a single barrel while a Gatling gun has several rotating barrels. It is a common error to refer to Gatling guns as chain guns, particularly in connection with entertainment such as video games" so i think that in the next release of tremulous (1.2) the "Chaingun weapon should be renamed to "Minigun"

"Chaingun" sounds cooler. Although, "minigun" reminds me of the MythBusters gun that can set trees on fire.

Aye.  And besides, Tremulous is suppose to be in the future.  By that time, the definition of 'chaingun' and 'minigun' may have come to mean very different things, even the same thing.

It would appear that the term "chain gun" is a trademark of  Alliant Techsystems Inc and refers to a chain operated machinegun and not necessarily a rotating-barrel gun, whereas the term "minigun" often refers to a (relatively) miniaturised Gatling gun. I think they should be called kitten guns.
