Luci and jetpack - it is fixed now?
« on: September 10, 2008, 01:32:56 pm »
Hi, I often see in game this: http://www.mediafire.com/?ygj2etmvbiz Someone have luci, charge it to beep and then change weapon to blaster and back to luci. Luci never blow up and he have all time full charged luci.

And jetpack - when you crouching in vent and turned on jetpack, then you walk speed is higher, probably like normal walking.

It is fixed already in svn or some qvm?

Lots of lucy bugs are fixed, so probably yes.
And I never notice the jet thing, so its probably.
MGDev is running as close to SVN as you can get, so try it there.

Well, it IS a jetpack. I wouldn't call it a bug. The jetpack pushes you forward -> increase in speed.

But the model appears to be standing and thus your head is thru the ceiling. And it also increases speed backwards which isn't quite as logical.

The model should get flipped so you're laying in the tube.  And then the jet exhaust can toast everyone behind you.  Should also have a awesome cannon-style fire effect when you fly out the end.

Rotacak, I don't see why you're worried about these two semi-obscure bugs.  If anything, you can use them to improve your game and get an edge over your opponents.

The key to life (not just tremulous) is discovering loopholes, and then abusing them.

Maybe you're unfamiliar with some of the more subtle, harsh aspects of the English language?

But srsly, get some backbone... not everything is relative.  Stand up for what you believe in, don't edit it away!

But if you are on ground with running jetpack, then you are more slow than with stopped jetpack. It should be same when you crouching.

What now? I fixed a typo/bad grammar in my post. Not more, not less.

You can't switch to blaster, or use secondary to cancel on mgdev.

I'd assume that is intended for 1.2, and thus no longer valid SOON.

I'm not sure about the jetty in vent thing, but I for one think it's a nice benefit of spending more.

OT: ZOMG! I'm being recorded!
