Someone shows up and says that they want to contribute towards tremulous, and actually has a useful skill, and this is how he gets treated? Where are the moderators? Oh wait, they're flaming the original poster...

Interesting. At least you aren't worse than before, though truthfully I can't say I can figure out how that would be possible.  :) Nothing hostile man, but you know it's true. Interesting models. They're not bad, but I don't know how much more models would help 1.2's development. Perhaps that is wrong, but I don't think at this stage you could really contribute much for 1.2. For some mod though, yes.

I suppose we could look at a Client side HD version then?
Just an idea the devs here might consider.

Stannum? A user in the community I take it?
In not sure what your talking about being a step behind, Being away for 2 years has that effect.

EDIT: Ok I searched and found their already is a HD version in the making

Also I'd like to apologies to everyone about my past behavior, I'm not proud of it.

Stannum is a dev. The one who is making *all* of the new models for 1.2.

But by saying that no models will be used in 1.2 unless they are made by stannum, you'll put off some potentially useful contributors.

How was I supposed to know?
I just woke up, I cant think properly this early in the morning. Anyway its good to be back, Maybe I'll post ideas or something for improvements for the game engine.
Maybe a few things we could play with to the engine up to today's standard game engine, but I don't think the community wants to get into that.

Sadly the community does not seem as open to new ideas as it did when you were still active.

I'm not sure Lava would like that. He's on a bit of an anti homophobia crusade at the moment...

@DIGI_Byte: you show some semi-good stuffs here what are not definitely bad, but instead of "fishing" for requests, you could try to infect actual topics with your ideas or start new ones in their proper place. take the risk of being flamed in multiple platform.

and really take the effort to search and check stannum's models.

from my part, wich should be graphic design, i can tell you that seeing your logos and the sketch of the axe... you are not only lacking the technical knowledge, but you are too lazy to make them look fine (or just don't have a sense for deciding what looks fine or not).

but the 3D things are not bad, while they are obviously overpolygoned for a game like tremulous. i like one of the machineguns. i'd suggest to work out others sketches in 3D.

sadly, there is still no proper place on the forums to show trem connected artworks :-(

I'm not sure why you would be saying such a thing, I don't have professional knowledge of 2D, If you've got some advice or see room for improvement, Please give some heart felt advice. Don't stand back and downgrade me, I'm not a concept artist but I try harder than your average person who would WiP up a quick pencil sketch.

i simply say it because you didn't take the time to properly make them.
the axe is a digital concept, what is extremely flat, the only place where you tried to show some texture of it is the blade, where the blurred pack of lines are very far from what i would call 'metal'.
before you change to tablet, practice some hand drawing.

on the logo, wich is so simple that there is not so much faults on it to whine about, don't post something that had pixel brick on the edge :-) and be very cautious when using gradients and textured background. they make it ugly most of the times, like in this case :-)
and doN't implement a small logo in a big one, because if its scaled down, it turns to be a small disturbing blur.
