providing custom map downloads over at
http://tremulous.megavoid.de has been very successful. In 20 days there have been more than 2500 map downloads (about 10MB each) from the MTI!
As you may guess, that is causing some serious traffic. Not critically much by now, but I have to take care of the matter.
First step I have taken is providing an additional download mirror at work, the links to the blackheartware.com mirror can be found at the
MTI download section.
This is where we come to my request:
Please do not link the download files directly anymore! Please link to
http://tremulous.megavoid.de or directly to
http://tremulous.megavoid.de/index.php?module=downloadApart from my personal traffic issue solution, which may spread the traffic on two independent servers, it also has an advantage for you: You do not have to keep your links up to date as I take care of that on MTI...
Please help me to keep MTI up!
