Yes you can.
It was added to ioq3 a while ago, and shortly later merged into trem SVN.
Any client based off the latest SVN has it, although it only works on servers that also support it.
http://releases.mercenariesguild.net/client/ is SVN + "backport", there are a few others around.

Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.

theres a few servers with the support. dretch storm has it so does sst as well as several others.

merceneries guild clients not the only client with it theres tremfusionhttp://www.tremfusion.net/trac/wiki/Releases with it and heaps of other features and has been released. fsm-tremhttp://code.google.com/p/fsm-trem/ is in beta testing for a release soon and is in between the 2 in features.

the quality is low and it only works if your net rate is set to 25000. you can hear then but if you want to speak you wil need openal installed and enabled.

For better quality, use mumble/teamspeak.

the only problem with this=

1.squeeky teenaged voices screaming 'PWNED NEWWB!!!!' into the microphone every 2 seconds.

2. two people talking at once is confusing.

3. it draws the already super nerdy more into the game as they can interact with their korean buddies more! :D

(we all know which problem is the most serious)

BTW, on TremSpain we have a small python script that changes you automatically to aliens/humans/spec rooms on mumble.
