Question on Ali3n mechanics

So Aliens get frag points in order to evolve. So say I am a dretch, and I want to evolve into a Marauder, which costs 2 frag points. Now if I evolve into a Basilisk first, which costs only 1 frag point, will I only need one frag point to get up to marauder or will it cost 2?

It will cost 1.

However, it really isn't wise if you want a marauder/goon to go basilisk first. You will become a big target compared to all the other dretches and such, and if you die, you're screwed out of a frag which you could have waited for marauder or a goon.

Yeah. When i get back to my good computor and back to trem im going to live as a dretch for a while. I like the adv basalisks though, cause of the gas. The human scum are camping i just gas the ones without the armor. WEEEE. They die. Its funny!   :)

as a note there's currently a bug in the evolution system: to evolve to tyrant from adv goon SHOULD take 1 evo point. It in fact takes TWO.

Basilisks are good with a team. Holding someone in place when you have teammates around is an auto death for them-especially since unless they're a battlesuit, they wont be able to shoot you since they can't turn.

I personally like it taking two certs to become a Tyrant, instead of the one. It seems more balanced, and last longer. If that where the case, the humans would be wiped out a lot faster then they where before, whereas, right now, it is pretty much even.

I hate having to pay more.  It's a rip off.

I don't think it would make much of a difference overall, but I do like to get my credits worth.

It seems to me that the 3 Adv forms "waste" one point when they evole. You need to pay 2 for Adv Basilisk, but the for is only worth 1 for future evolutions.

Then tyrant should cost a flat 6 evo points. I mean honestly, a majority complain when aliens hit S3 everyone just goes tyrant...but when your penalized for evolving up from the adv forms rather than going straight to them...that's just wrong.

Not just Tyrant,I find the adv dragoon pretty effective to.I mean in some places the tyrant is a waste and the avd dragoon should cost the saem
