How to Post Screenshots on a Forum?

Hi! Its me, toto!

I've searched all over the forum for an hour or two... but I've never found a single hint of how to post a picture DIRECTLY onto the forum, as opposed to referencing to a site. I want to post a screenshot from my screenshot folder from tremulous into a topic, like this.

I know there's an icon that says, "Insert Image," but it gives me some form of code... I'm not a programmer yet, so I have no idea what to do from there.

Can anyone help me?

Most forums support BBCode, here there is an explanation:

So you should first upload your image to an "image hosting server" (search that in quotes into your favourite search engine to get some).
Then copy the Direct URL they provide you and paste it like:
