Custom sv_gravity in several places

Hi!

I'm creating the map, with moon scenery (on the moon there is a human base and the alien base is in the rock also there is huge moon space).
What i want to do (i don't know how): I want to place different gravity in different places in the map, (in human base sv_gravity=800, on the moon 400 and in the alien base 100) Please Help me I'm beginner! ;D

As far as I know, this is not possible in Quake3/Tremulous.

Alternative 1:
How about adding an upwards force, similar to those platforms that push you up (i.e. pushcannon) but instead of a platform to be a cubic area.
So it would work as negative gravity thus decrease the sv_gravity from 800 to 500 or whatever you want.

English is not my native language so I find it a little bit hard to explain this physics stuff.
Am I being clear? Is it even possible through GTK?

Alternative 2:
Add some kind of transparent water in which you don't die but there is less gravity. Although players will look as swimming and they'll be able to fly LOL ;D

There are different gravity areas in 'Halls of Fame' area in Watah-b5 map by kazior-vb.

I know that can be made. I've played some maps where you had no gravity under a tube, so that if you jumped you could reach the above but if you didn't nothing happened.

And that way you don't appear to swim XD

PS: Maybe there should be a subforum for Spanish for those like you :P

I can't believe nobody's answered this yet.

Make a new brush that covers the entire area you want to have different gravity. Pick the Trigger texture for all sides. Then, make it a trigger_gravity. Open the entity inspector with N, and change the gravity as needed(with the key provided in the help box).

Well, I dunno, TremSpain sounds awfully Spanish to me.

Have this in mind tho, with most qvms, you will NOT be able to build inside the area with the gravity brush, however you ARE able to do so when you devmap locally. I had to learn that the hard way >_>
