Issue with GTK radient. Shaders
« on: November 11, 2008, 03:27:14 am »
Just downloaded the program im in the process of making that first room thats in the manual.

I cant get textures to work,as soon as i drag to create the room it says (in the code part):Texture load failed: "textures/"
all over the room it says "Shaders Not Found"

yes i've done all the trem.game stuff so i can see the textures that come with trem.

Shaders are the problem i think.

Please help me!

This is chuck. Your problem i think is that you havent followed the steps on the tremwiki page through there entirety. You need to set your tremulous path in GTKradiant as Tremulous/Base (the one probably under C:/Program Files/Tremulous) if thats where it is installed. Anyways remember to follow the steps from 1 to 5 (or how ever many there are) :)

Or even better, forget the TremMapping wiki. GtkRadian 1.5 is fully compatible with Trem 1.1.0. Provided you installed Tremulous to Program Files, the only problem you should have should be with your common textures, which, if you like, I can give you a .pk3 that will fix them.

Arg i followed your mapping wiki to the last detail i even uninstalled GTK and started again in case i f'ed it before, i know it's finding tremulous because i can get all the maps and see all the different textures.

but the program contradicts it's self becasue the camera view of the map says: shader not found.
BUT the code at the the bottem says:

penGL window configuration: colour-buffer = 32bpp, depth-buffer = none

If you can see the textures... press shift+click on the brush you made and click on a texture and the brush should be covered in the texture you see
