Pure Tremulous is "The Pure Server," meaning that we hope there is no nonsense there.
Is Pure Tremulous the server for you? Well, we work hard trying to make it so. If you are SICK of:
Silly modifications such as Rampage; dretch punt that throws you half way across the map ("just for good measure"); and administrators with commands such as !slap, !earthquake, and !s3.
Losers who like to curse at you just for the heck of it, or even for a reason.

Then you should probably come by and give Pure a try. We aim to give a pleasant Tremulous 1.1, catering to everyone, not just people who have all the modifications downloaded and installed. However, we have some settings that are worthy of note:
Unlagged
Friendly fire on for everything except trample and pounce.
New-style !listplayers
!register (to register your name so no one else can use it there -- required tjw's client)
No share or donate -- we make you work for your dinner and become better with a wider range of weapons and aliens.
!pause, !buildlog and !revert - quickly combat deconning and help to restore the game to before someone thought removing the RC would be fun.
However, we only put in what we think is best for the players. Our administrators do not get any commands that we think can be abused. Also, seeing as the server is backed by the Mercenaries Guild, it has a large wealth of resources and programming expertise helping it. If the desperate need for a new command or small server change should arise, the guild will take care of its development.
Some benefits to playing on Pure Tremulous are:
Good hand picked moderators which are bound by the administrator rules that can be found on mercenariesguild.net.
The ability to report administrator abuse to the forums.
No bad modifications to the gameplay on the main Pure Tremulous server.
No rudeness clause -- we don't tolerate any kind of griefing, not even verbal.
Instant permanent bans for deconners and cheaters.
Also, the server is actually a rented dedicated server that we have full control over. It should be able to provide a smooth gaming experience for most people. Some things to note about the server:

4 Hyperthreaded CPU cores
More than enough RAM
