Lots of people have problems with admins who don't know how to admin fairly and the answer is easy...just don't play on those servers (or just leave when the bad admin comes on).  Kinda pointless bitching about it on here.

Easy answer...just don't play on those servers. Lava's an asshat. So what? Just don't go to that server. Easy solution. Their server, their rules. I can start a server and kick anyone who isn't being a jerk.  Don't like it, too bad, just go to a different server. It's not like there isn't another server... /end_rant

Oh yeah, I forgot name's are what you ban on? Don't think so...I actually play there a lot. If you banned someone named Rambone that was causing grief, good job, just don't ban people based on a name (that could have been abused by a griefer).

We ban people on ip obviously. And I empty most of the ban-list once in a while, obviously. That will probably explain why you can play there.

Sigh, people still don't get it...you may have banned "a" Rambone, but it wasn't me. What pisses me off is when I join a server and I get kicked immediately, because I was just there griefing an hour earlier. What makes it even more annoying is when I haven't been online for days, so some other asshat has been using my name, er...the name I choose to go under (can't say it's MY name). I joined one server and saw some guy deconning Overmind and eggs, so I do a tell and let it be known what he was doing. Somehow that bitch could take my exact name...so he says I'm the impostor, yadda yadda. I get kicked, he laughs his ass off, fun. The moral of my bitching is don't think player "X" is gone, because you kick that name.
 Oh, has anyone seen the bug/exploit, whatever where the screen fills with text spam and everyone's views get reset, so their locked pointing down? That was some weird shit and I hope that guy doesn't decide to grief a lot...

thats y i always use a /rcon cancelvote whenever i see someone try to kick...

i may not be able to stop it when im not on server but when i am i do and immediatly ask y.. if someone says he griefer i sya what did he do and when did he do it

if they say other night or so and so i say well shit did he do it just now.. no well f u and stop calling votes only call it if someone did it recently.. if whole team agrees on accusation ill kick or ban personally..

There's a flag ('1') that you can give to an admin or level that prevents vote kick.

An admin is supposed to supervise the server and maintain it.

This does not mean an admin can kick people whenever they like to
or if they get flamed at.
Kicking is there for people who really missbehave.
Like teamkilling all the time or rasicm speaches or what ever like that.
And mapchanges i dont care if he does that but do it after the round has ended.
And admins don't have to be logged in while they play.

Second of all ther are no serverrules posted where-ever on satgnu.
so basicly everything is allowed by players.


But then again don't let people who can't

Take flaming
be an admin.
That is calling for trouble.

And admins at least first give warnings before you kick anyone.
