Crashes
« on: November 24, 2008, 08:30:50 pm »
Hey there,

I started trem today again, and since then, I've been getting a lot of crashes. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes to crash, other times only 2. I got the newest drivers for my graphic card and that still didn't change anything, I also got tjw's client. I play in window mode and it just freezes the whole window while Windows XP keeps working normally. I can even restart trem but it crashes within a minute when I connect to server.

OS: Windows XP SP2
CPU: Core 2 Duo 6600
GPU: Geforce 8800 GTX
Memory: 2GB

Run it from the command-line and post the output. Our resident experts will try to make something of it.

you can always completely remove tremulous from your computer and then reinstall it. Doing that should solve the problem.

This might sound like the noobiest post of all times, but how do I run tremulous from the command line?

Start -> Execute -> cmd.exe -> tremulous.exe

No, it's run -> cmd -> cd C:\Program Files\Tremulous -> tremulous

you can omit the .exe.

Sorry, long time - no Windows box.
