my server keeps crashing and i dont know why.

yesterday i tried out this new qvm that a friend made for me. The problem is this qvm keeps crashing my server. Normally this would mean that there was something wrong with the qvm but the odd part is that it works fine on his server but not on mine. Another problem is instead of an error in the server console i just get an error from windows telling me that tremed.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close . This is really starting to annoy me and i am wondering if there is any way i could fix it or at least see the error so my friend might find if he should attempt to fix it.

You start it from the command prompt.

i have tried that i typed
cd "c:\program files\tremulous"
then
tremed.exe
and when it did crash nothing showed up in the command prompt

He's getting a segfault :/ Not much any of us can do about it.

I used to have this problem occasionally. Either your tremded or QVM is messed, or your log files are full (I temporarily fixed it by emptying them).

i cleaned out my log files and got a new tremed.exe but now i get this error

Just don't use that qvm I think.

This qvm works fine on my friends server why wouldn't it work on mine?

I'm not sure, but it seems that you can't get your server to work with that qvm, so you should probably switch qvms because no one can help you it seems.

What QVM is it and what was done to it?

Clarification: Nero's QVM, while it's pretty sick if you manage to get it working, is also jack-full of bugs. Don't use it unless you like having a broken server.Woot! Post #600!

ok all switch back to the default. The default works fine except for a bug where it randomly bans everyone from the server.
